Trail 1 took us over to where we found Trail 5 but we were just too hot to continue on Trail 5 so we skipped it. Ended up taking Trail 1 around until it hit Trail 2 and then shortcut back on Trail 2 to the vehicle. This trail took us right beside Interstate 69 and along a railroad track for a while. We saw lots of turtles in the water.

Eagle Marsh Wetlands is right across the road from Lutheran Hospital on Jefferson Street. It is exactly what it says...wetlands. Although in this drought it actually was quite dry. Not a lot of shade...so I suggest walking it in cooler weather. We were definitely way too hot. One of the trails did take us for a short walk through a small woods though.
But otherwise, this is a nice large grassy area. Definitely need to wear taller socks or maybe pants. Some of the spoils of walking this kind of tall grass territory include dirt and blood...
We walked about half of the trails before lunch, then took a break to cool off and eat. Went back and walked some more after lunch...

This is a nice short little trail in New Haven that is actually part of the River Greenway through Ft. Wayne. We took Kaden with us and let him ride his bike. This is paved and completely in the woods. At least the section we walked was. It was only .32 miles one way. We had never been to Moser Park in New Haven. There is not a lot here. A small pond for fishing and a picnic shelter. It was a nice evening walk with Kaden riding his bike.
