Hiked .98 miles around the old Willshire Quarry in Willshire, Ohio. 

If I have learned anything about hiking it is to always watch where you are going. I almost stepped on a snake!

But you just never know how beautiful it is right near your own town.

Took grandson Kaden back today to climb the fire tower and walk around the Buffalo Wildlife Exhibit.

Trail 5 all the way around the Park. It's just amazing to me how truly beautiful it is in the woods. It feels like you step into another world and leave the stresses of life behind.

Left my house and walked to the cemetery with someone new, nephew Eric. There is a nice Veteran's Memorial there too.

I'm a little ashamed of how short of a walk this was. I wanted to explore all of the trails while we were there but we went late evening and the Mosquitos were awful. Will definitely go back another day to finish.
