We went to visit our oldest son Brad and his wife Megan for vacation. He is in the Navy and currently lives only 10 minutes from Cypress Gardens. It was hot and a bit muggy and buggy at the end of July, but not just too miserable. It was only $10 per person and self rowing the boats was free. I was a bit disappointed we didn't see more alligators but they said it was too hot for them to be out. We did not walk every single path, but took the main outside paths all the way around.
Total distance hiked - 1.79 miles
