So we started out the day believing that we could walk all the way from Old Mans Cave to Cedar Falls and then to Ash Cave and all the way back again.  We were wrong.  As much as we don’t want to admit it, Rich is 51 and I am 47.  We just weren’t quite up to it  I guess we have to build ourselves up a little at a time.  The way it was we walked almost 8 miles just from Old Man’s Cave to Cedar Falls and then turning around to come back.  This was one of the most beautiful walks I have ever been on.  The jaunt between the two attractions was very remote and peaceful.  We only passed one other couple.  I ended up with a blister on the back of my heel but it was definitely worth it.  We stopped a lot along the way just to enjoy the nature.  This is the longest walk we have made so far.
